You won't find any store bought cake or brownie mixes in our Shoppe, nor will you find any artificial colors or additives in our kitchen. Our cupcakes are made fresh each day 100% from scratch, using real butter, pure sugar, top quality Omega 3 eggs, and the best flours we can find. Our gourmet desserts will never contain any artificial preservatives.

Valrhona Chocolate

Valrhona makes some of the finest chocolate in the world and we use their cocoa powder, 66% bittersweet and 40% milk chocolate coins. Valrhona is the only chocolate we use in all—not just some or a little—of our recipes that call for chocolate.


European Butter

European butter has 83% butterfat making all of our cakes creamy and melt-in-your mouth decadent. We use only top of the line cultured butter.



Buttermilk is that overlooked secret ingredient in most recipes, but makes for a tender crumb. It creates the perfect balance between light and moist that makes our cupcakes stand out in the crowd.

Fleur De Sel Sea Salt

Fleur De Sel literally means "flower of salt," in French. It is a hand-harvested sea salt collected by workers off France's Atlantic coast, since the seventh century, who scrape only the top layer of salt before it sinks to the bottom of large salt pans. Traditional French Fleur De Sel is collected off the coast of Brittany

Beloved by cooks, these fine, light crystals have a delicate flavor and high concentration of minerals, making them the perfect finishing salt. Light, delicate flakes of pure sea salt dissolve instantly when sprinkled into food. Produced using traditional methods in which sun and wind evaporate the sea water, leaving crystals that are skimmed by hand from the surface of salt pans.


Unlike other bakeries that simply add different flavorings or extracts to an American-style buttercream, we incorporate different styles of buttercreams. Our rotation includes our silky smooth buttercream, as well as French and Italian buttercreams.

A French buttercream is made by beating egg yolks, hot sugar syrup, and butter in separate stages. The result is a richer, creamier topping when compared with the Swiss-style.

Although not a buttercream, cream cheese lovers will fall for our whipped cream cheese topping as it is a pure and simple recipe, using only the basics: premium cream cheese, European butter, confectioners’ sugar and Madagascar Bourbon vanilla extract.

Ethereal Cupcake’s buttercream frosting is so good you’ll want to eat it with a spoon! Not too sweet, European butter is whipped with just enough sugar to produce an amazing buttery finish that will have you running back for more again and again.
